Walk Bike
Irondequoit

Since 2022 Walk Bike Irondequoit has been a community-driven initiative working to make our town safer, more accessible, and more connected for people of all ages and abilities. We advocate for practical, people-centered improvements, such as sidewalks, bike lanes, traffic calming, and safer crossings, that make it easier to walk, bike, and roll throughout Irondequoit. Our work is grounded in the belief that transportation is about more than getting from place to place; it’s about creating a healthier, more vibrant community where everyone can participate fully in daily life.

Through community engagement and collaboration with local leaders and organizations, Walk Bike Irondequoit helps turn ideas into action. We bring residents’ lived experiences into planning processes, support policies that prioritize safety and sustainability, and work to secure funding for infrastructure that benefits the whole community. As part of Color Irondequoit Green, we are committed to advancing equitable, climate-conscious solutions that improve quality of life across our town.
