WHO WE ARE

Color Irondequoit Green (CIG) is an organization of residents from the town of Irondequoit who are working towards a sustainable future. Our group of volunteers partners with other community groups and with our town board and schools to advance climate solutions at the individual, family, neighborhood, municipal, state and federal levels.

We are respectful, inclusive, nonpartisan, solutions-focused, transparent, collaborative, scientifically-informed, and committed to social, racial, environmental, and intergenerational justice.

AFFILIATIONS

Color Irondequoit Green is one team belonging to a coalition of others throughout the Monroe County area organized under the umbrella of Color Your Community Green, an initiative of the Climate Solutions Accelerator program.

We work together to have the best possible impact for a sustainable future. We have many resources and tools to help us take tangible actions towards a more sustainable community.
