Volunteer
Color Irondequoit Green is powered entirely by volunteers, and there are many ways to get involved. Whether you are passionate about gardening, safer streets, tree planting, environmental advocacy, or helping to organize special events or manage social media, CIG offers a way for you to plug in.
Volunteers help support our ongoing initiatives such as ReTree Irondequoit, Walk Bike Irondequoit, Healthy Yards Irondequoit, as well as assisting with the annual Irondequoit Eco-Fair, educational workshops, and community events throughout the year.
Whether you have a few hours a year to attend meetings, or want to become deeply involved in local sustainability and community advocacy, we welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, interests, and skill levels who want to help make Irondequoit healthier, greener, safer, and more connected for everyone.
