Defend NY
Tuesday, March 10
10:00 am
New York State Capitol
State St. and Washington Ave Albany
New Yorkers from every corner of the state will converge on Albany to demand accountability from Governor Kathy Hochul. As our communities face overlapping crises, sky-high costs for rent, food, and childcare; new fossil fuel pipelines pushed while our climate law is ignored; and neighbors abducted and disappeared by ICE, all while the federal government cuts essential services, this Governor continues to prioritize big corporations and the status quo over working people. We are done being told to accept scarcity while corporations profit and our communities suffer.

Regenerative Futures Lab
One 90-minute meeting per month on the 2nd Thursday of the month, rotating between 5:30 – 7 pm and 12 – 1:30 PM
Hybrid sessions: in person and online
The Regenerative Futures Lab, a project of the Genesee-Finger Lakes Climate Collective, is a shared space for rethinking the mental models that keep climate and social issues in place. Explore how participation in the extractive economy contributes to harm, and discover concrete ways to opt out and reinvest in a regenerative future.
Everyone is welcome, no matter what shade of green you are. Creating a healthier, more equitable, and regenerative future requires all hands on deck, with contributions from every sector and demographic group. For those who will be participating in person, an optional potluck will be part of the gathering—feel free to bring a dish to share!
